The story of the origins of "3DSJ All Request Radio" begins here when Bill Elliott had the opportunity to work with programmer and station owner Bob Bryar at WORC in Worcester. Bob owned the station from 1955 to 1968 and during that time WORC was the dominant radio force in central Massachusetts. Bill says, "In all my years in broadcasting, including major markets, I have never seen or known of a station that had the ratings strength and audience loyalty of WORC. When I decided to create a radio network I wanted to bring this magic to the forefront and make it the model for putting great music entertainment back on the radio."
